Terms of Service

Effective date: October 25, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Permloop, operated by KRYO LLC ("Permloop," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Tampa Bay, Florida. By checking the acceptance box when you sign up for a trial or subscription, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, and we record the version of these Terms you accepted and the time of acceptance with your subscription. By otherwise using the service, you also agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Permloop is a private business. We have no affiliation with any city, county, or government agency, and no agency endorses or sponsors us.

1. The service

Permloop compiles newly filed building permits from public records published by Tampa Bay area counties and cities, classifies them by trade, and delivers the permits for your trade and territory to you by email each morning. We send that digest every morning, including mornings when the public record shows no new permits for your trade and territory — on those mornings the digest says so plainly instead of not arriving. Coverage includes Hillsborough County, the City of Tampa, and Pinellas County, and expands to St. Petersburg and Clearwater as those feeds come online. Each permit carries the fields the public record publishes — permit number, permit type, property address, city, filing dates, status, project value, description, and parcel ID. The feed never includes telephone numbers or email addresses for property owners or contractors.

2. Signing up and the free trial

  • Every new subscription begins with a 14-day free trial of your territory's actual permit data. No payment card is required for the trial, and nothing is charged during it.
  • If the county publishes no new permits in your trade on a given day during your trial, that day doesn't count — your trial extends by a day for each such day.
  • One free trial per business. Signing up for repeated trials to avoid paying is a breach of these Terms.
  • The information you provide when you sign up must be accurate.
  • Your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy is recorded with your subscription, including the version of these Terms in effect when you signed up and the time you accepted. If these Terms change materially, we notify subscribers by email as described in Section 9; continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
  • Nothing is charged during the trial and no payment card is taken at signup. To continue after the trial ends, you provide payment details at that point; paid plans then renew automatically until you cancel (see Section 4).

3. Exclusivity

We sell each trade-and-territory combination to one subscriber at a time. While your paid subscription is active, we will not sell the same trade and territory to another business. Exclusivity ends when your subscription ends or is terminated.

This exclusivity covers only what Permloop sells. The permit records themselves are public records, published by the counties and available to anyone; other businesses and services may collect and offer the same records. This section promises one active subscription per trade and territory on Permloop — it does not make the underlying public records exclusive to you or to us.

What a territory is. Each territory is one permitting authority's published records: "Hillsborough County" means the permits published by Hillsborough County's permitting authority, "City of Tampa" means the permits published by the City of Tampa's permitting authority, and "Pinellas County" means the permits published by Pinellas County's permitting authority. A permit published by one authority belongs to that authority's territory even if the property is located inside another territory's geographic area — for example, a permit published by the City of Tampa belongs to the City of Tampa territory even though Tampa sits inside Hillsborough County. When we add a new permitting authority, it becomes a new territory with its own subscriber slot.

Trials and the waitlist. Only one subscription — trial or paid — may hold a given trade and territory at a time. A trial holds its slot for the length of the trial. If you sign up for a combination that is already held, your signup joins a waitlist and you receive no feed until you are activated.

4. Billing

  • Your price is the price shown when you subscribe. Founding-member rates, once granted, remain in effect for as long as your subscription stays active.
  • Paid plans renew automatically — monthly or annually, matching the plan you chose — until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe, and subscribing means you allow recurring charges to your payment method through Stripe until you cancel.
  • For annual plans, we will email you 30–60 days before each renewal so you can cancel before the charge.
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If a charge fails, we may suspend delivery until payment is resolved.
  • You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: you keep receiving the feed until then, and the subscription does not renew. We do not provide partial-month refunds.

5. Data accuracy — please read

PLEASE READ: the permit data in our feed is provided "AS IS," without any warranty of completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The feed is a compilation of historical snapshots of public records — it is informational only, and it is not legal advice, compliance advice, or professional advice of any kind. Public records can contain errors, omissions, and publishing delays that are outside our control; fields vary by jurisdiction, and a permit filing does not guarantee that a project will proceed or that work is available. Before you act on a permit, check it against the county's own record; the business decisions you make with the data are yours. A subscription does not promise you any set number of permits, jobs, signed contracts, or income.

Permloop is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the feed is not a consumer report. You must not use the feed, or any information in it, to evaluate any person's creditworthiness, or for housing, tenancy, employment, or insurance-eligibility decisions, or for any other purpose covered by the FCRA.

Our data depends entirely on third-party public sources — the counties and cities that publish permit records. Those sources control what is published, when it is published, and in what form: their feeds can be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable, sometimes for days at a time, even while the underlying permits continue to be issued. We monitor our sources daily, and when a feed stalls we work to restore coverage from the jurisdiction's other public records where available. We do not warrant that the feed will be uninterrupted or current to the day a permit is issued, and a delay or gap that traces to a source's publishing schedule is outside our control. Some trades and territories see only a few permits in a week; a quiet digest reflects the public record, not a missed pull.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Permloop and KRYO LLC are not liable for business decisions made using the data. If we are found liable for anything arising from the service, the most we will ever owe is what you paid us during the three months right before the claim. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

6. Acceptable use

Your subscription is for your own business's internal use only. You agree that you will not:

  • Resell, redistribute, republish, or pass the permit feed or its contents to any business or person outside your own business
  • Use the feed to build or supply a competing product or service
  • Interfere with the operation of the service, or try to reach our systems without authorization
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Use any automated means — including scrapers, bots, crawlers, parsers, or other automated tools — to access, copy, monitor, or systematically extract the feed, the website, or any part of the service, or to collect permit data from Permloop in bulk
  • Circumvent, disable, or attempt to circumvent any access control, rate limit, technical measure, or security feature of the service, or probe or test the vulnerability of our systems

We reserve the right to block, rate-limit, or otherwise restrict any automated or abusive access to the service, with or without notice, and to terminate a subscription that violates this section.

Breaching this section — in particular reselling or sharing the feed — is grounds for immediate termination without refund. It is also what keeps your territory exclusive: the same rule protects you from every other subscriber.

If you reach out to anyone whose project you spotted in the feed, that outreach is yours alone to keep lawful — telemarketing, email-marketing, and do-not-call rules included. In particular, you must not import feed data into an automatic telephone dialing system, a text-blasting platform, or a ringless-voicemail engine, or otherwise use it for calls or texts, without the recipient's prior express written consent as the law requires, including the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.059).

7. Intellectual property

The Permloop name and branding, this website, and our compilation of the data — its selection, classification, organization, and presentation — belong to KRYO LLC. The underlying permit records are public records and remain public. Your subscription gives you a limited, non-transferable right to use the feed as described in these Terms; it does not transfer any ownership to you.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time as described in Section 4. We may suspend or terminate your subscription immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service unlawfully. Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

9. Changes to the service and these Terms

We may modify the service — including features, coverage areas, and pricing for future periods, except founding-member rates under Section 4. When a change matters, we will do our best to tell subscribers ahead of time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version will be posted on this page with its effective date, and for material changes we will notify subscribers by email. Using the service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Permloop and KRYO LLC, and their officers, members, and agents, from and against any third-party claims, damages, losses, fines, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your use of the feed, your outreach to any person whose project you spotted in the feed, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
